Terms of Service
This is a working draft. It describes how CabSys is offered today and will be replaced by the reviewed version. Using CabSys during open beta means accepting these terms as they stand.
These terms apply to every business that opens a CabSys account and to everyone who uses CabSys through that account. Read them together with the Privacy Policy.
01 The service
CabSys is a cloud ERP for cabinet makers: a web application, a desktop client, and an email channel that sends your business documents on your behalf. During open beta it is provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features, and we will give notice before any feature becomes chargeable.
02 Accounts
A business (a factory) opens an account through an owner, who invites members and sets their roles. Keep sign-in details confidential, keep the account's contact details current, and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been misused. The factory is responsible for what its members do in CabSys.
03 Your data
Everything you enter into CabSys remains yours. We process it only to run the service for you, as the Privacy Policy describes, and for nothing else. You are responsible for having the right to enter other people's details into CabSys and for using them lawfully.
04 Email sent on your behalf
Email sent on the platform channel goes out from no-reply@post.cabsys.com.au with your factory's name in the sender name and replies routed to your own address. You are responsible for its content and for choosing its recipients. Send only to people you have a business relationship with — customers, suppliers, installers and your own team. Marketing, bulk or unsolicited email is not permitted.
To protect delivery for every factory, we may block addresses that bounce or complain, limit daily volume, and pause a factory's platform email if its sending causes problems. You can connect your own mail service at any time instead.
05 Acceptable use
Do not use CabSys to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload malicious content, probe or disrupt the service, or reach data that is not yours. We may suspend an account that does.
06 Availability
We aim to keep CabSys available around the clock and ship improvements weekly. During open beta there is no service-level guarantee. Where we can, maintenance is scheduled outside Australian business hours and announced in the product.
07 Liability
To the extent the law allows, CabSys is provided as-is during open beta, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profit or lost data — arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
08 Ending the service
You can stop using CabSys at any time and ask us to close your account; we then delete its data as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and will say why.
09 Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version and material changes are announced in the product. These terms are governed by the law in force in Australia. The governing state and the dispute process will be set in the reviewed version.
